man & nature # 186 ~ did I mention the rain?

Rain, rain, rainclick to embiggen
In the last 10 days I've canoed in the rain, camped in the rain, played golf in the rain, made pictures in the rain, been singing (and dancing) in the rain, and ....

... the weather forecast for the next 10 days - rain, 7 of 10 days.

That'll be because it rained on St Swithun's Day.

I hear ya, Mark. Although we mostly got lucky and dodged rain, we did get some. But not once in 7-8 days did I see something resembling a sunrise or sunset (a little color at times). Most of our days were gray, and when the sun did come out, MAN - was it steamy!

Just two days ago did we portage aroundthis dam; brings back great memories! Since I had a rental boat (which, of course, can go anywhere :)), I contemplated running the chute ;)
