Jim Jirka ~ Bud Light Mobile

A big departure from my comfort zone. It looks as though I purchased a good sample of a Holga. I didn’t see light leaks.

publisher's comment - no light leaks? Sounds like a defect to me. Demand a refund/replacement.

Yeah I guess for what it is, no light leaks makes it worthless!!

But it does have a special quality to the images in respect to DOF.
It is something I just didn't care about when out with the "toy camera".

Jim,
It may not have the light leaks, but it still has that something special to it that says "Holga". I like your choice of subject to. The light and DOF falloff works well with it and I love the B&W.!

I am always a bit suspicious of photographs of "old" things (read: nostalgia), but this comes together really nicely with the beer case. I hope the holga proves to be an engaging journey and I look forward to more.
