When you die, what will happen to your pictures? Will anyone care? Do you care?

What an interesting topic! Yesterday I bought the book "My Name is Red" by the Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk. The novel provides an intriguing view on the role of the artist (is art selfish or divine?) and the endurability of art in the world. The year is 1591 and the main characters are miniaturists in the Ottoman Empire. The book is a historical novel, a murder mystery and a love story. Higly recommended!
