As is my habit, upon my return from a trip I re-process and re-post pictures which I had processed on my iPad and had posted while on that trip.

my response: Yep, RAW processing + calibrated display + knowing how use the info in the PS Info Palette = life and "purity".
And, IMO, "purity" means eliminating color casts, both global and local - most often both in the same picture.

These "redux" exercises are always interesting to me. Opening up a second browser and looking at the two versions side-by-side there are obvious changes in color, tonal range and overall brightness (some brighter, some a bit darker). And of course the trademark border treatment is added.
