My apologies to the tourists but, yesterday evening, I did get what I was hoping for - more rain.

As a chicken was roasting in the oven for dinner, I went out to the store, cameras in hand, to get some butter. At the time, it had been raining and was threatening more. So, with 25 minutes until the chicken was done, I moved about the area and made the pictures which are posted in this entry.

Within that 25 minute time frame, it was rather amazing, at least to me, the variety of light, cloud structure (or lack thereof), and general atmospheric conditions which the weather presented to me and my camera. I could have hung around and made even more pictures, but I didn't want to be late for dinner - a perfect example of real life getting the way of making pictures.

How do you cope with the rain when making pictures (droplets on lens)?

BTW, love the "wet pavement" photo. All the elements just worked together in that one.
