Re: the life without the APA # 1-8 entry, Carolyn (no linked provided) asked: How will you display your wonderful images in the show?

Carolyn, thanks for the question and your great use of the word "wonderful". Comments / questions are always appreciated and compliments are as well.

Re; display - I have finally arrived at a very reasonable and a very good looking method of displaying my prints. A local framing shop will drymount the prints (24"×24") on acid free foamcore for the paltry fee of $20.00USD/each. Considering the hassle of doing it myself, this is a real bargain.

In addition to that bargain, I have found - at pictureframes.com - 24"×24" white metal frames (unassembled) with 3/8" face x 13/16" depth for only $15.84USD/each, hanging hardware and wire included. Together with the drymounting, the cost per print, ready to hang, is under $40.00USD. IMO, a very reasonable cost.

As is my wont, there will be no glazing.

The dummied-up picture accompanying this entry gives a pretty good idea what the end result will look like. As I always do, I will be picturing the actual installation for a look at the real thing. FYI, the white border around the image is not a mat - it is the paper white on the print.

Thanks for the info. The simple framing, IMHO, clearly shows that the image is more important than the frame. Excellent!

I am looking forward to the picture of the final installation and your thinking as you designed it.
