pinhole # 7 ~ nothing wrong with a bit of fun now and then

I'm curious how the use of the pinwide fits into your hierarchy of photographic styles.
At this point, I am making pictures with the pinwide just for the pure fun of it. Despite that picturing approach, it is possible that a coherent body of work - most likely emphasizing the near/far extreme DOF characteristics of pinhole picturing - will eventually emerge. Only time will tell.

I couldn't agree more with your title, I've got one of these gadgets too. Can't quite decide what to do with it yet except just to see what drops out of the hat. I've wanted to produce pictures of this ilk for while now (i.e not sharp, vignetted, not of my normal vision) but have never wanted or been inclined to use digital manipulation to achieve them. I like the idea of making pictures via happy accidents too i.e. the fun bit.

This implies that your other photos are not for fun?
This is an interesting composition that takes advantage of the DOF. Great picture.
