This works exceptionally well for me. I guess parts of it is due to the incomplete palette of colors, only brown and blue, enforced by those tiny dots of red that reinforce the blue-ness of the blue. And besides the repeated shapes of the trees that tension added by the just entering human figure adds an additional visually interesting element. Yup. Works.
