Around 1:00am this morning on my way to bed, I glanced out of the front window and noticed that a light wet snow was falling. The snow was sticking to everything. I couldn't resist going out and making a few pictures.

It was so otherworldly quiet and peaceful that I was tempted to get out one of the winter sleeping bags and sleep on the porch.

Can't say I agree with everything you write but I do seem to find your photographs agreeable and interesting. Good work.

The first photo, Wet snowfall, has such a strange look... I guess because of the unusual lighting. It has the look of a badly processed HDR, which I am sure it is not. I much prefer #2 and #4... not that you are asking for votes.

Yes, #1 does look odd but I've never taken pictures of fairy lights in snow at 1am, so I can't sure. But #2 definitely captures the mood of "otherworldly quiet and peaceful".
