Asgaard Farm goats ~ Au Sable Forks, NY - in the Adirondack PARK • click to embiggen

Yesterday, the wife and I, together with our 2 house guests, went up the hill to Asgaard Farm for some fresh eggs, feta goat cheese, and some grain-fed Angus tenderloins. The day was crisp, clear, and cold. We spend a very pleasant hour or so rambling around the farm. It was very enjoyable.

The dinner that followed was also very enjoyable, especially so because having 2 chicks (the wife + 1 house guest) and a gay guy (who is a NYC chef) around the house makes for great eating with very little involvement in the prep, cooking, and cleanup from me. Sitting around sipping some wine or a bourbon while others are busy as beavers is a very pleasant way of getting things done.

I must admit that I have given some thought to the idea of indentured servants.

Love the goat picture Mark. Getting his picture taken in mid-bleat is way cool!

Also, thanks for posting the great pictures of your gallery show. Glad to hear is was a success and you didn't bust your ass for nothin'.

Great shots, Mark. And I like the idea of indentured servants.
