the agents of death and the perveyors of fear, pt. II - teach your children well

Andrew Wyatt / P-R Photo
This picture was made (see credit under photo) last Saturday in nearby Plattsburgh, NY. The ReFoxican TeaScumbag Party had turned out some of its best and brightest to protest against our local Congressman's decision to vote YES on the health care bill.

One diligent mom brought along her young bigot son - hey, it's never too early in a child's life to instill divisiveness, bigotry, and hatred. Way to go, mom. Makes me proud to be an American.

Here is the US debt clock: http://www.usdebtclock.org/ How can you in good conscious justify how another trillion dollars will help your young grandson Hugo? Also what you instilling in his life with all the anger and nastiness that you spew out toward people you disagree with.

Well Mark,

You have hit the big time. By posting this tirade and labeling the people in the picture bigots, I provided the definition for your convienence.

A bigot (in modern usage) is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own or intolerant of people of different ethnicity, race, or class.

Sounds as if you fall under this title as well.

Much of the debt referred to above, comes from two long and costly wars that the USA still has to pay for, G.W. Bush's tax cut to the rich and the pigs on Wall Street who nearly caused the collapse of the world's financial system forcing the US to go further into debt.

That the health insurance companies raising their premiums by a whopping 50-60% in the past year doesn't seem to bother you much! Those premiums are in reality an indirect tax levied on the people without any representation!

Yea, lets blame Bush some more. Maybe some one will come along promise Change We Can Believe In. All we have to do is spend more money and everything will be fine. Wise up, the we are bankrupt. The Republicans were kicked out, by their own party for the greed, corruption and spending too much money. Now it's the Democrats turn in November.

"Yea, lets blame Bush some more"

When Bush became president, the US was running a budget surplus. By the time Bush left office, the US was deeper into debt than at any time since WWII.

Yep, a quick check of U.S. debt history will quickly show (unless, of course, you're blind) that the Republicans - you know, the party of fiscal responsibility - have consistently been the front runners in increasing American debt. Ronald Reagan and Shrub being the record holders in this department.

As for Obama's bill, well: "The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said the bill awaiting Obama's signature would cut federal budget deficits by an estimated $143-billion over a decade." from http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/obama-signs-us-health-care-overhaul-into-law/article1509170/ But, what does the Congressional Budget Office know?
