M&M Diner ~ Au Sable Forks, NYclick to embiggen
The wife is away for the weekend so I'm going on a road trip down to/through the central Adirondacks in pursuit of pictures - primarily more man +/- nature pictures but, as is my normal MO, I'll be open to any picturing possibilities. Maybe I'll even get in a little golf.

For me this is a classic as I love pictures of diners. But why is it that people insist on leaving their empty bottles on any covenient part of the landscape? In the city this is the norm but I am surprised to see it in the "country".

It was problably left there by some city folk. ;)

No offense to gravitas, but his village is fairly ghetto for the "country". I'm not surprised by the trash.

It's also spooky to see the dark house (2nd from left) in that shot. Last Christmas the resident shot his ailing wife in her sleep, then politely called the police to report what he had done before he shot himself on that front porch.
