A one horse open sleigh • click to embiggenThere were no fields or snow to dash through in south Jersey but we did have a one horse open sleigh (on wheels).

Despite the absence of snow and fields, the bells were jingling all the way, especially when the horse broke into a trot. And, make no doubt about, spirits were bright and everyone was laughing all the way. Now, if only the horse had not had that odor-rific bag of crap strapped to his rear ....

God forbid the horse leaves anything on the road for someone to step in! There are actual laws that say no "poop" in towns. I've actually had to go back and clean up after riding my horse through a town before.
