Ok. That's it. My brain is officially and completely fried.

After reading today's entry Hugo's dad sent me a few of Hugo's just plain stuff pictures that he made this past Sunday evening. His is the one on the right.

The one on the left is a picture that I made this past Tuesday and, honest to Betsy, I had not seen Hugo's picture until just 30 minutes ago.

OK. That's it. My brain is officially and completely fried.

I think you can retire now, Hugo is ready to carry the torch.

Hugo is pretty pissed you cropped and vignetted his photo! He wanted it to be beveled with gold trim and a lens flare.

Enjoying all this "eyes of a child" thread - reminds me of the Moody Blues song, "Eyes of a Child" (same said lyrics I used in an exhibit review, to describe some work by Michael Kenna - NPy, of course!

"With the eyes of a child
You must come out and see
That your world's spinning 'round
And through life you will be
A small part of a hope
Of a love that exists
In the eyes of a child
You will see . . ."

That is uncanny,

Sometimes I think kids know instinctively how to frame shots.

Have you heard of fractal geometry?
If not, view this video of NOVA:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/programs/ht/tm/3514.html?site=34&pl=qt&rate=hi&ch=1

I thought of You, Aaron and Hugo as I watched the section, towards the end, on the rain forest. I thought about these images and wondered "Are we living "fractal" lives?"
