Red, white and blueclick to embiggen
We're off to see the wizard - the car is packed and the princess-daughter has said her goodbyes. We're heading out for Philadelphia and the college drop-off. On our return, we're detouring to college-boy's new off-campus apartment to check that out.

And then, it's back home to our empty nest.

Been there, done that. But guess what? Sometimes they come back home. Have experience in that area, also. That empty nest will be harder on your mate than you. Afterall you have a blog and you have your photography. But I have to admit that I'm luckier than most because every fall I see a whole bunch of new eager faces with cameras in hand, memory cards or film in their pockets. When we dropped our daughter off in OH I had waiting for me in MA a whole bunch just like her ready to hang on my every word -- which was something my daughter never did. So the daughter than returned to live with us after college moved out last week (finally) and this coming Monday I face the first day of classes. Funny how it all works out like that.
