Garden of earthy delights • no embiggen - it's a Polaroid
Spring 'blossoms' in Fishkill, NY - along the lower Hudson River Valley.
It was Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, I was on the road again and I had run out of film so I took a Polaroid picture as a nod towards alternative process photography.

Do you know how Fishkill got it's name?
Jim - The kill part in the name is actually the Dutch word for stream or creek and is common in the names of many communities and waterways in the area, which was settled by the Dutch in the early 1600s.
Thats good. I was hoping it wasn't describing the fishing in them thar parts.
