urban ku # 27 ~ FINALLY
It finally feels like winter. It's been snowing for the past 18 hours and it's suppose to continue until tomorrow morning. The forecast is for 36 inches. Everything's cancelled. No school. Plows are operating continuously.
There's a roaring fire in the fireplace. Chili and cornbread are on the menu. The Pens are on the tube this evening, and I have to shovel snow.
It's finally winter.

I just finished shoveling and guess what -- no heart attack! Ain't life grand!?
I envy you guys. Here in Holland it's springtime in februari. Sunshine and 12 degrees centigrade. I didn't shovel since i was 10 years old.
Hey I sent the storm your way Mark after it cancelled school here for two days! We only got a measley 4 inches out of it though.
This photo is heartwarming, exhilarating, comforting, exciting, and downright cozy! Hope you enjoyed the chili and hockey.
Snow? What is that. We get 1/2 and they close the schools. We are actually hillier than San Francisco.
Writing from sunny So Cal. I like your photograph, Mark.
Snow? Huh?
reminds me of my favorite photograph I've seen from the Oswego storm that I found while googling for them.
A snow bank that was easily 7 feet tall had a large cardboard sign stuck in the top of it that proclaimed in bright fluorescent marker "please don't plow any further, my truck is in here!".
