Snow!
This is the brook that runs behind my house, but I took it a few 100 yards down the road on my way to work this morning. I love fresh fallen snow!
This blog is intended to showcase the landscape photography of photographers who have moved beyond the pretty picture and for whom photography is more than entertainment - photography that aims at being true, not at being beautiful because what is true is most often beautiful..

Oooo that's cold! Nice photo for an "on the way to work" grab shot. It really fits in with what we've been doing here, far from the alpine views with freshly fallen snow on the evergreens. The density of it is really appealing, much like my dense view of leaves, the previous entry here.
Hey Michelle - ain't we just the lucky ones.
Kent, Thank you. I've been digging into myself a lot in the past year and seeing where the photography goes, even though I am producing a lot less photos. I am finding that the photos are just a bit closer to that illusive gut feeling of rightness for me.
Mark, yes, we are lucky to be able to live in this wonderful part of the earth. Anytime I've lived away from here, it felt like a part of me was missing.
